On Saturday, October 25, 2017,
the Moon Township Historical Society enjoyed a most perfect fall morning spent at Nevillewood, located on Rt. 50, learning more about the historic home of Preston Neville and of course, his famous father. Col. John Neville, tax collector, and the Whiskey Rebellion that took place not far from there.
Our guide was superb in his role, so knowledgeable and delightful, helping us use all of our senses to learn more about the historic home and the people who dwelled there.

A perfect host: Our MTHS Tom.
I would trust Tom to be a most trusted, incredible guide at any of our Nation’s FINEST museums! He loves his subject matter and very easily, brings it to life for his audience! We learned proverbs, nursery rhymes, danced and sang, and once over, everyone remarked what a remarkable morning it had been!
